
Today, after waking up at 2pm, I rushed off to catch the bus (my bike is taking haven at the office) to the Melrose Trading Post. On the corner of Melrose/Fairfax in a school parking lot, $2 gets you into a street market bustling with hipsters.

this evening, Luke Chueh was in town (well, the Corey Helford Gallery), for opening reception of his new exhibit, “The Contemptorary”, a showcase of, as you might expect, his trademark (and unfortunately victimized) white bears.

on friday, i had the opportunity to help out at a photoshoot by Steve King of NAKAHOUSE by XTEN, and i ended up being pulled in by the crew to model in a model’s (very beautiful) home!

On my first weekend exploring Los Angeles, I did what I did in New York: hit up the shops! Though these areas are not quite easily as accessible as New York’s shopping districts (I miss the metro, and the ability to walk everywhere), I managed to hit up a few stores on Melrose/Fairfax.
